As the NCAA lacrosse season inches closer towards it’s finale, it’s time to start switching our focus to the adults. The MLL is well underway, and here’s a look at the Outlaws vs. Nationals. Additionally, if you opt to keep reading, you can see some MLL Top 10 plays. Continue reading
MLL Highlights
Coach Berkman’s Commemorative Bucket
Salisbury is the Division 3 lacrosse program. They’re synonymous with National Championship, and earlier this week, Coach Berkman earned his 400th career win over Cabrini.
The Gull alums called on HeadWrapz to design this helmet for the successful coach to commemorate each of his 400 wins. Salisbury has remained unbeaten this season, and have been trouncing their competitors. Upon further inspection, their top point-getter actually has 123 points (61, 62), which is crazy talk.
Congrats Coach Berkman.
Product of the Day: Pita Pocket
Our store manager, Steph DeGennaro, forwarded this along to the blog hotline late yesterday. We released it initially on Instagram yesterday, but here’s the LaxUNation close-up.
She titled her work “Bananarama,” which is a fitting name for the color scheme. If you’re looking for this identical stick, we recommend that you head to Lacrosse Unlimited of Miller Place, but you should know that any Lacrosse Unlimited can do this for you. Just show them the picture.
Inquire Within
This dye is so good, we can’t even explain it. The frayed edges, the strong coloring, it’s all on purpose, and if you take the time t0 e-mail us with your design, we can bang that out too.

ESPNU’s Top Plays
For some reason, we’re generally unimpressed with this list. It’s probably because we’re spoiled with some sort of Desko antic every weekend and Palmer’s little BTB rendition leaves us wanting more.
However, Fiorito’s save and Acton’s goal from God knows where were beyond impressive. How did Palmer’s one handed GLE flick against UVa not make this list? Blasphemous. Continue reading
Loyola Plays Box
Could this be the impetus for Loyola’s No. 1 ranking this Spring? Maybe. Box lacrosse helps in nearly every facet of the game. In most cases, it develops the finer parts of the game: in-tight scoring, stick protection, handling under pressure and pinpoint accuracy.
What amazes us is that the netminder had on normal pads. There’s no chance I would step inside of that rink without hockey pads. No chance. Last point, is this the best off-season practice? Continue reading
Missed Part of May Madness?
In case you missed Stony Brook’s Sean Brady fend off the onslaught from Hopkins, here’s a look at the Stony Brook vs. Hopkins game that resulted in a lopsided win for the Jays. That song is the worst when you’re losing. It’s like the song that never ends, but worse.
Stitching
Our girl Heather’s nickname is stitch. Do you think she’s a professional? She has this machine in the back that we’re pretty confident could take over the world with the flip of the switch if manipulated the right way. Almost entirely a one-person team, Heather deftly manipulates this stitching machine to produce a logo like you see on the New Era lid above for Westlake Youth.
Their logo looks great on this flexfit from the hat leaders of the world. We like their taste. It’s almost like a Wisconsin “W,” but with a stronger lax twinge.
The Velocilaxers
We see you Velocilaxers. Who’s Dr. Alan Grant? Requested by a friend of our Danvers Store Manager, these uniforms go into impressive detail throughout. Allow us to call some attention to the color fade, logo, dinosaurs at the bottom and nuanced logo. Even the slashes have a reptilian feel.
These are just a quick smattering of reasons illustrating why you should order from Lacrosse Unlimited Team Sales. No order is too small. No order is too big. Everyone gets relentless service.
